Paul Ehorn, a seasoned shipwreck hunter and scuba diver, has discovered the wreck of the Lac La Belle passenger steamer, which sank in Lake Michigan over 150 years ago, after nearly 60 years of searching.
The shipwreck was found approximately 20 miles offshore between Racine and Kenosha, Wisconsin, according to Shipwreck World, a group that announces and verifies shipwreck discoveries globally.
